Classic Film to be shown | Arts & Culture
ALBANY - The New York State Writers Institue will be presenting the classic silent film "Daddy Long-Legs," starring silent film superstar Mary Pickford.
The movie, based on the bestselling 1912 novel by Jean Webster, is about an orphan girl whose life is changed by an anonymous benefactor.
The movie will be shown on Friday, March 30, at 7:30p. The showing will be at Page Hall, 135 Western Avenue.
