DEC clears Washington Ave. dry cleaners | Business

A former dry cleaning business in Albany is given the OK from the state Department of Environmental Conservation.

As we first reported earlier this month, the county executive called on the state to inspect 566 Washington Avenue.

There was concern it was contaminated by leftover cleaning chemicals.

The DEC checked the site and didn't find any dangerous air emissions.

The agency still has to check out the basement.
