Voorhesville man charged in kidnap plot
ALBANY - A Voorhesville man is facing charges after State Police say he tried to kidnap a business associate and hold him for ransom.
Police say sometime between February and April of this year 53-year-old James Hennesey tried to arrange the kidnapping of his associate. They say he planned to hold him to get a $400,000 ransom.
If convicted, Hennesey faces up to 25 years in state prison.
He is still in custody on $250,000 bail.
