CDPHP Document Fair to aid public with advance directives | Events

The CDPHP Document Fair will be held on Thursday, Aug. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Beltrone Living Center. The center is located at 6 Winners Circle in Albany.

CDPHP and the Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc. have teamed up to provide the public with the free document fair to help guide through the process of completing advance directives.

According to CDPHP, these legal documents serve as written instructions regarding preferred medical care in case a person is unable to communicate their wishes.

Area attorneys will be at the event to walk people through the process.
