As we told you last month, the tulips in Albany are off to an early start.

So early that the city is inviting local residents down to Washington Park to see the tulips now while they're in full bloom.

Albany’s big tulip festival isn't until May 12-13.While some late-blooming tulips may be seen then, the city gardener says the best time to see the flowers is within the next two weeks.
