ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Flags will be flown at half-staff on government buildings in New York on Friday to honor a state trooper who died in car crash while on duty.
Trooper Amanda Anna died from severe head injuries after her patrol car overturned on a storm-slicked road Friday night north of Syracuse.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday ordered flags to be flown at half-staff Friday, the day of the 31-year-old trooper's funeral.
Anna was a six-year veteran of the state police and the mother of a 4-year-old son.
