Senior Services looking for donated vehicles | News

Senior Services of Albany, Inc., a not-for-profit human services organization serving seniors and their families in the Capital Region, is looking for donated vehicles in good working condition to use in their Meals on Wheels Home Delivered Meal program.

“Our Meals on Wheels staff and volunteers travel approximately 1,000 miles a day throughout the Capital Region to deliver meals to almost 500 frail elderly and homebound individuals each and every day,” said Jane Schramm, Executive Director/CEO. “No matter how hard we try, it is difficult to keep our fleet in good working condition no matter the weather or road conditions. We are always in need of good vehicles to help us run this vital aging service program.”
