Eight new deputy sheriffs sworn into office | News
On Monday, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple announced the swearing-in of eight new deputy sheriffs to his office. The appointed positions are:
- Ty Bariteau of Green Island
- William Gannon, Jr of Albany
- Nicholas Jaeger of Albany
- Gregory Kehrer of Albany
- Tyler Moffatt of Colonie
- Vincent Nischo of Colonie
- Matthew Schiller of Albany
- Anthony Sidoti of Loudonville
The recruits will begin the Zone 5 Law Enforcement Academy on Wednesday, July 18.
