Video promotes movie production in Albany | News
ALBANY - Hoping for more Hollywood on the Hudson, Albany unveiled a new push to bring filmmakers to New York's Capital City.
“Film Albany” is a new video, designed to showcase downtown Albany as a film friendly city.
It touts the city's ability to look and feel like any other large city and its ability to easily accommodate closure and traffic needs, which it did for the movies, “Salt” and “The Other Guys.”
It also promotes a newly signed state law that grants larger tax credits for editing and other post production work done here.
