Albany County sees 17 DWI arrests over Labor Day weekend | News
There were four alcohol-related crashes in Albany County over the Labor Day weekend.
Authorities announced the results Thursday of last weekend's countywide blanket patrol.
Out of nearly 600 stops, 17 people were arrested for DWI.
One had a child in the car.
Out of the hundreds of stops, 28 cars had a designated driver.
It's hoped the county's designated driver initiative will help increase that number.
