Red Cross busy helping Irene victims
ALBANY, N.Y. - The Red Cross has also been busy collecting and organizing donations for victims of Irene.
The Northeastern New York chapter has served more than 5,000 meals with the help of volunteers, and continued unloading supplies today, including water, food, clean-up kits, rakes, shovels, and more.
Red Cross disaster teams are located in Albany, Dutchess, Columbia, Ulster, Greene and Schoharie counties.
