Woman hit while crossing the street | News

ALBANY – A woman was injured while crossing a busy street Tuesday morning in Albany.

Police say the 47-year-old woman was crossing the street corner of Washington Avenue and Swan Street around 7:30 a.m. when she was hit by car.

The victim suffered a severe head injury, police say, but it is not believed to be life-threatening.

Police are investigating the incident, but at this point no tickets have been issued against the driver.
