Chinese delegation to visit area schools and attractions | Parents & kids

A delegation from Tianjin, China visiting the Capital Region will go to several area schools Wednesday. They will visit Cohoes City Schools at 9 a.m. and conclude with Guilderland Schools at 1 p.m.

Before going to Guilderland, the delegation will have lunch at the Capital Region BOCES Career and Tech Education which will be prepared by the students there.

The delegation will play laser tag in Colonie later in the day Wednesday and be the guests of the Albany Devils at the Times Union Center.

On Thursday, the delegation will meet with business partners at Tech Valley High School and spend the whole day at the school. Delegation leaders plan to meet with state leaders and tour the State Capitol.

Students will spend time with their host families while delegation leaders and local educators meet.

The delegation will tour the RPI campus and then attend a farewell ceremony at TVHS Friday.
